What Oils To Bring When Travelling By Boat, Car or Plane?

If you are travelling, and are trying to figure out which oils to bring but have too many to choose from, these are my recommended oils to bring.  I mainly choose the most popular oils because they can cover a HUGE range of common health concerns.  Of course, this is just my humble opinion, but this is what I bring when trying to travel light.

This is what I pack:

  • LAVENDER- This oil is so versatile and sooo handy to have.  I bring it to rub on my ears and chest for relaxation, calming, sleep and motion sickness before boarding a plane.  Other uses are for minor injuries, blisters (when walking too much), balance hormones, seasonal threats etc.
  • PEPPERMINT- I love peppermint for hundreds of reasons but for travelling, it’s great for freshening your breath, minor nausea, head tension, tense muscles, digestion, tummy aches and sinus.  Also perfect when you don’t want to snore in public!
  • DIGESTZEN- This oil is a lifesaver for travelling, especially in third world countries.  If you easily get upset stomachs from eating food from different countries, Digestzen is a MUST! This is for anything digestive related, for dizziness and occasional nausea.
  • BALANCE (GROUNDING BLEND)- It’s very calming and helps quietens your overloaded mind.  Helps keeps me feeling balanced and present before leaving and during the journey.
  • LEMON- It is very cleansing and disinfecting.  Great for germs and throat, or just to drink in your water daily to boost your immune system.
  • GINGER- (Optional)  For those who easily get nauseous while travelling, ginger is a powerful oil to combat that yucky feeling.  My kids will throw up if we take a long drive somewhere, but since rubbing ginger on their ears before travelling, they have not felt nauseous.
  • ROSE TOUCH- For some people, frankincense may be their staple, but for me, it’s Rose.  Rose has super healing powers that I basically use for everything.  Face, skin, minor injuries and even when sick.
  • ON GUARD HAND SANITIZER SPRAY- A must have when travelling to disinfect your hands and hotel bed linen to get rid of nasty bugs.  Do not use hand sanitisers that are laden with toxic chemicals!
  • AIR FRESHENER SPRAY- I made my own spray with citrus oils like Purify, Bergamot and Lemongrass as a toilet air freshener.  I think of this because I will be sharing the bathroom with friends and no one likes a stinky surprise!
  • ON GUARD TOOTHPASTE SAMPLES- Perfect sized toothpaste to use for brushing your teeth on the plane, airport or petrol station.
  • SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER SAMPLES-  For those who like to shower at the airport or are only traveling for a day or two.
  • ON GUARD SOFTGELS- This is a must for me, to bring the whole bottle.  I take it while on the plane to boost my immune system while I’m sitting there breathing in the same air with hundreds of people. Also just in case I get sick while away.
  • SERENITY SOFTGELS- For relaxation and better sleep while travelling.
  • PB ASSIST- Double encapsulated probiotics for gut health and immune support.
  • TERRAZYME- Enzymes that help breakdown food and absorb nutrients.  If you like to EAT when travelling, this will help you digest better and reduce bloating.
  • LIFELONG VITALITY SUPPLEMENTS- Food Nutrients and Omega oils.  Great for overall health, energy, my engine oil for my body, healthy hair, skin and nails.
  • ROSE HEALING HANDS LOTION- Small and nourishing lotion for your hands and body.

For third world countries or camping, I also pack:

  • TERRAARMOUR OUTDOOR SPRAY- This is a natural big repellant spray. Safe and effective for keeping the insects away.
  • DIGESTZEN SOFTGELS- It is easy to catch a stomach bug or have tummy troubles when slumming it, so bring Digestzen just to be safe.  This helps ease all sorts of tummy troubles.

Other oils I may bring if I have space:

  • FRANKINCENSE- For cellular repair, immune support, skin and just about everything.
  • EASY AIR/BREATHE or EUCALYPTUS- For opening airways, sinus support and just easy breathing.
  • ICE BLUE/DEEP BLUE- For aches and joints, especially if going snowboarding or active sports.
  • LAVENDER PEACE/SERENITY- For those who suffer from feelings of anxiety and stress.
  • LITSEA- For positivity, inspiration, confidence and immune support.

This is how I pack:

I have a small oil bag that fits 10 oil bottles and 1 spray bottle. And I put all my vitamins into a small container.  I find it easier to use than putting them into an empty bottle, as you can easily sort them out.

Travelling should be fun and stress free, which is why I pack a small amount of oils and supplements so I can be at my best, to fully enjoy my trip!  If you have any questions or comments on what you bring, then comment below!
