If you’re ready to move on to greener pastures, let’s start with some baby steps.  Firstly, let’s take a look at the two mascaras I purchased from Nourished Life.  I’ve been in search of a natural mascara that doesn’t smudge.  Why? Because I am the type of girl that gets panda eyes in just a few hours.  I don’t know why, maybe I have extra sweaty eyes.  Who knows! I was unsure if I could find any safe mascaras that were long lasting and didn’t smudge, so I usually left mascara off my beauty routine.

**Nourished Life ships worldwide.

Mascaras I reviewed:

100% Pure Maracuja Mascara- Black Tea

Ere Perez Volumising Waterproof Mascara

I applied the 100% Pure Mascara on my right eye and then the Ere Perez Mascara on my left eye.

Findings

100% Pure Mascara: As soon as I opened it, I noticed a slightly sweet tea smell.  I kind of like that.  I loved the thick brush that really gave my lashes definition and a very natural look. It gave my lashes a slight lift which my super dead straight lashes needed. The formula was very thin so I had to wait a little bit to reapply because I like my lashes to look a bit thicker.  If you like the natural look, then this would be fine.  Otherwise, just wait a little and then reapply. It doesn’t clump at all and is very nourishing! The most important thing I found, was that it didn’t smudge at all when I wore it all day long! I loved the pretty packaging it comes in too!

Ere Perez Volumising Waterproof Mascara: The formula was thicker than the 100% Pure Mascara and after the first application, I noticed that it gave my lashes volume straight away.   I was able to reapply straight away for a slightly thicker look. It gave a slightly better lift and curl than the 100% Pure Mascara.  It was long lasting and didn’t smudge all day long. I did have a slight grey shadow, but it was nothing compared to the black smudges I used to get! It didn’t irritate my eyes even though it’s waterproof. The packaging looks a little plain but it’s $5 cheaper than the 100% Pure Mascara.

Conclusion

So far, I’m liking the Ere Perez Mascara better than the 100% Pure Mascara, though I think both of them work well and are better than the mainstream mascaras I’ve tried.  I will definitely buy these brands again!
